With over 40 years of market experience, Forthbridge Wealth Management provides dynamic investment management suited to today’s investment environment. Our disciplined investment approach has served our clients well over numerous and varied market cycles.
We offer 5 discretionary blue chip Canadian portfolios with both a bottom up and top down macro view. Bottom Up refers to the research we do to investigate a company’s fundamentals, management expertise, earnings, balance sheet strength and growth potential. We are value investors, looking for stocks that are cheap in historical perspective. Our top down macro view superimposes the economic conditions and corporate profits outlook that drives the investment environment.
Life & Investments Should Be Balanced
We advocate a balanced approach to investing. We believe equities will outperform bonds over the long term and we expect to see dividends to be an increasingly greater proportion of the overall return over the next 5-10 years.
Forthbridge Portfolio Market Risk
Forthbridge Wealth Management employs a number of strategies to control the risk exposure of all its portfolios. These strategies are outlined in the Investment Policy Statement of each portfolio. The percentage risk figures refer to the percentage risk of each portfolio compared to the TSX60 Total Return Index, or the “Market Risk” over the same period of time (Inception to most recent date) of the stated portfolio. Since the TSX60 Total Return Index is considered 100% market risk, the percentages offer a measureable assessment of risk exposure in relation too the market.
